Retired life! We started living on Catan in June 2016 and left the Kingston area on August 4. We hope to experience the Great Loop - completing a big circle via the Trent Severn Waterway Great Lakes, the Mississippi River, Gulf of Mexico, the Intercoastal Waterway, the Hudson River, Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence Seaway.

As for the boat's name, Catan - our family has played our favourite board game "Settlers of Catan" for many years. Hours upon hours of fun have been had! Hence the name of our blog - Settlers ON Catan!
