Chillin' in Demopolis

There is something to be said about getting off the water for a bit, and relaxing DOING NOTHING! That be Alison talking. Eric is already itchin' to get moving again. Ha!

To be honest, we chose Demopolis because of the amenities nearby and the lovely marina. Alison is heading off to Cancun on Monday for a week (annual girl's trip), and Eric will hold the fort with Beau. We have easy access to shopping, golf and a variety of group organized dinners & activities through the marina staff. It was also a good place to hold up for the US election (being in the heart of Trump country). What a show!

We have enjoyed a couple of dinners out (including a plantation setting), a round of golf and a side trip to Meridian, Mississippi to shop at Best Buy, Ross, TJ Max - and dinner at the Outback!!! All in all, a great break in the trip with wonderful weather. So, the daily routine takes over and long days on the water are put aside for a couple of weeks. Life is good!
