MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I am writing from Tampa Airport as I wait for my flight home to Toronto. Eric will be flying home on Friday, and then the fun starts! We are planning stops in Hamilton, Oshawa and Ottawa, before spending new year's eve with friends at the lake. It will be a whirlwind of visits, no doubt.

The boat in the photos below is a neighbouring boat currently in Dunedin. Even I would not get this elaborate with Christmas décor!

Since crossing the Gulf of Mexico last week, we have enjoyed a lazy time recuperating and catching up on sleep. We have explored Dunedin, Tarpon Springs and some beautiful beaches nearby. This is a lovely area of Florida and our marina is quite centrally located to most amenities. Weather has been unseasonably warm (in the high 20's), so we have enjoyed strolling about in shorts & t-shirts.

We have Beau lined up to stay with a local family while we are away and the marina will keep an eye on Catan. It really doesn't feel too much like Christmas yet. It's just odd being in a tropical climate! Nonetheless, we have pulled out our winter gear and will be back to the cold shortly.

We both fly back to Tampa on January 2 and will stay in Dunedin for another week or so before heading further south to Punta Gorda (near Fort Myers). We are more than 1/2 way around the loop now!

For now, we send wishes for a safe and happy Christmas, and all the best for 2017! Life is a big adventure for us right now and we are so happy that we're enjoying every minute of this experience! Thanks for following along with us. Peace and many blessings to you and yours. Merry Christmas!
