Lazy days, in vaca mode!

After a whirlwind of visits to family and friends in Canada, we returned to Dunedin on January 2. We had such a wonderful time visiting but it can be exhausting! Seeing everyone (especially the grandkids), was truly worth the effort. I must say that we're really feeling like we're on vacation these days.

Not travelling every day is quite a nice change. Catan has been tied up here at Marker 1 Marina in Dunedin since Dec. 13 after our gulf crossing.

The west coast of Florida is famous for it's sunsets, and we're really enjoying them most evenings from the back deck of Catan. We have enjoyed some pool time, lots of reading and socializing with other loopers here in the marina. Until this weekend, the weather has been very hot. Right now we're having a couple of days in the 50's, but warmer weather is in store soon.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch yesterday with a former AAA colleague of mine, and friend, Jenny. Eric had met her on a couple of occasions, so we really enjoyed catching up and spending the afternoon together.

On Tuesday, Jan. 10, we will depart Dunedin and head for Fort Myers where we will stay for another month at The Marina at Edison Ford http://www.marinaedisonford.com/ I'm afraid that the blog will not be too exciting until we're on the move again in late February! That being said, I'll keep posting when interesting days / events come up.
